A Pastel Dream x Zara
If you've read my previous posts and follow me on social media you will know that I'm a lover of all things pastel. Not as outrageous and out there as many other people I've seen amongst things like Instagram and Pinterest but I like my statement pieces and this is certainly the best yet.
For a while I've been wanting to treat myself to some sort of jacket and I originally had the idea of a Bomber Jacket with some sort of Japanese looking design on the back and I had seen a few in Zara already. That idea changed altogether once I saw this beauty.
Photo's really do not do this any justice. The colour is almost a perfect match with my pastel Dr Martens.
I'm not quite sure as to whether to jacket is supposed to be a cropped fit, with 3/4 length sleeves, but that's how it fits on me and I quite like it. Despite having to go for the XL (the biggest size available) it fits pretty well, I tried a large on in the Zara store and felt I couldn't zip it around my boobs and move comfortably but the XL isn't massive, I'd class it as around a size 14. That's only from my size and personal opinion. For a long while the pink jackets were out of stock online and I haven't been anywhere with a Zara around to be able to hunt around for one so I searched daily online until I found my size in the right colour. Zara also stock a beautiful baby blue and mustard version of this jacket.
The faux leather is so soft, although it does have a leathery smell, probably from being stocked up in a warehouse maybe, I don't know I'm sure it'll soon fade. The jacket has working zips and pockets, which is an added bonus, I hate when jackets and coats have silly fake pockets. As well as a looped belt around the middle with a super cool biker buckle, the belt is fairly long but looks awesome as hell when it's all fastened and zipped up!
Here's a link if anyone is interested..

I am hoping to do a look book with both my Dr Martens and this Jacket on styling different outfits, through day and night, when eventually I get round to it.
Let me know what you think, do you have any amazing pastel purchases?
Let me know and follow my social media! I always follow back.
