My Flight Essentials
1. Must have comfy T shirt to travel in. I think it's best to travel light with layers, so I'd wear something like this casual H&M T shirt with some soft jeggings to keep me warm while I'm in the UK with a cardigan or hoodie, that I can take off once boarded the plane. As much as I find it a huge necessity to dress uber comfy, I still like to look nice when I'm feeling ridiculously tired and stressed at the airport.
2. I'm quite picky when it comes to choosing outfits for the airport as I find it a must to wear shoes that will also be suitable for when Im on my holiday. My white converse are the best choice; practical and stylish, these can be worn with anything from shorts to dresses in the day or even with a toned down outfit in the evening. Plus who knows when you might have to run to the different end of the airport to find your departure point and shoes like these are perfect!
3. Comfy and casual TU denim look jeggings. This are brilliant for the flight in and out and super light weight when travelling. The last thing you need on the plane is to be stuck with the discomfort of jeans on a long flight.
4. My trusty iPod Nano, I say trusty because not long ago on the trip to Whitby just before I was planning on going and packing my things the lock button decided to break and my genius boyfriend Matthew fixed it like nothing had even happened! This iPod goes with me on any trip away I go to. You never know when you might need to drown out the noise of screaming kids and drunken parties on the plane! This iPod is always brilliant for when we plan on going for walks around the resort, with the built in fitness app I will be able to track my steps and how many calories I burn.
5. Big bag to fit everything in! After recently starting another part time job I've decided I'd treat myself to a new bag for my holidays. Accessorize have the prettiest bags ever! I've always been a huge fan of their designs but I really think they up their game in the summer especially. This bag is a decent size for me to use as my hand luggage bag (big enough to fit an A4 folder) and looks fabulously pretty!
6. I never travel without a packet of sweets to nibble on during my flight. Sugar is an essential to keep me awake and entertained when I'm bored. I know that sounds bad, but it's usually the boiled fruit sweets that I take which I use to suck on when going up in the air on the plane to prevent my ears from popping. Obviously washed down with a nice healthy bottle of water to keep me hydrated.
